Questions about billing
Safety is the whole product, not a feature. Every story — library or newly created — is written under a strict rule set (no violence, no weapons, no death or injury, no monsters-as-threats, nothing frightening, always a warm ending) and then reviewed a second time by a dedicated safety pass before anyone sees it. If a story fails review twice, it is never shown: you get a friendly message, your story credit back, and it goes to our review queue.
A first name or nickname, an age band (3–4, 5–6, 7–9), and a few interests. That is all. No birthdates, no last names, no photos, no location, no school, no gender. The form will not even accept them. Your child never has an account and never types anything into FablePond — accounts are adults-only.

No. Child first names are sent to our generation providers solely to write that one story, and our provider accounts are configured so this content is not used for model training. We keep anonymised generation telemetry to improve the service — never names.
Premium and Family subscribers can download any story as a watermark-free A5 landscape storybook PDF — cover, one illustration and paragraph per page, and a "Made for {your child}" end page. Several parents have had them spiral-bound as birthday presents.
